The most popular question I've been asked by my students is, "How do I improve my verbal communications skills?" I normally respond with the saying, "Practice makes perfect." If you ever had a situation where you had a difficult time expressing yourself, it generally means that you lack the vocabulary words to be clairvoyant. I like to stress the importance of learning new vocabulary words each day and not only to learn the definition of the new word but make example sentences with the word. If you don't know how to utilize this word, not only is this word absolutely useless to you, you will soon forget the definition of the word. I teach Advanced English, Business English, IELTS, TOEFL, interview questions and practical conversations. English is my first language and Korean is my 2nd language. I grew up in Pleasanton, California. I worked as an Enterprise Network consultant for Xerox and Kodak in Western NY. In addition, I also owned 2 franchises including, The UPS Store #802 in Walnut Creek, CA and L&L Hawaiian BBQ in Fresno, CA. I have taught ESL for 2 years to students in Korea and now currently teach for a few schools here in Beijing China. If you are seeking to improve your English, I'm the qualified individual you seek.
